Club Information Page
On this page you will find the listing of current Club Officers, Dates & Locations of upcoming club meetings, important items to be discussed at the meetings, and highlights of decisions made at those meetings. Our hope is that this will allow some input from our members who live too far away to travel to the regular meetings, and keep all members abreast of club decisions in a more timely manner than our newsletter currently allows.
Although this page may appear to be primarily for current club members, we hope that anyone visiting it will come away from it, knowing that we encourage our members to actively participate in club decisions, and that we do our best to keep our membership informed of those decisions. As we enter the new Millennium, we look forward to continued growth, with more activities, and we know that won't happen without a well informed, and active membership.
 Club Meetings & More!!!
Below is a list of dates and locations of our upcoming meetings and club events. Please note that meetings start at 8:00 P.M. We welcome visitors to all general membership meetings. All membership meetings for 2006 are now held at the Artisan Hall, 8801 Roosevelt Blvd., Philadelphia,. Pennsylvania.
- July 19, 2007 - Membership Meeting
- September 20, 2007 - Membership Meeting-nominations of officers
- September 23, 2007 - The Gibson Road Antique Fire Association,
will host their 14th annual fire apparatus muster, from 10 a.m.
to 4 p.m. There will be a display of antique and modern fire apparatus,
slow truck race and egg contest, fire related flea market, Dalmatian
contest, food, children's games and activities. Please join us in a fun day
for the entire family-admission is FREE!

Our 12th annual muster was a great success, and we are now preparing for our 13th. A big thank you to all who attended  it was a great day during a time we all needed a boost. A big "Thank You" to those who worked so hard to make it happen.
It was great to renew old friendships and, make new ones. Our 13th annual muster date is September 24,
2006, from 10 am to 4 pm. |

In the case of the map, print it out and take it with you, for the registration forms, print them out and follow the instructions on the page.
We sincerely hope that you plan to visit us this year as we would really like to see you there, with or without your Antique Fire Apparatus!! (Remember it's not a requirement to own apparatus to enjoy the hobby, or join the club for that matter.)
So, as they say on the Price Is Right "Come On Down!" You'll have a great family outing, meet the club members, and gain a little history of the fire service in the process. Who knows, this hobby of ours may just light a spark in your interests that none of our trucks can put out!!! |

Other Information
Wanted!... Sponsors  of trophies for our 2005 annual muster. We are always in need of any individual, organization or company to sponsor a trophy, to be given in your name.
Wanted: News from club members, of recently acquired apparatus, short stories related to our hobby, parades & Musters, or family news, such as weddings etc. Just send the info by e-mail to alf@grafa.org or regular mail to be included in our newsletter. We want to hear from you the membership, after all this is your club.
